I just came home from visiting Kansas, driving through the Tallgrass Prairie to Emporia where my husband, James Kearney was a speaker in the Tallgrass Prairie Writing Workshop. They have a fabulous new art center and a restored theater and performance space. It even has a park designed by Frederick Law Olmstead!
